LPG Category E Management Course

The Category E Management Course is a program of classroom instruction, demonstrations and hands-on training for prospective LP-gas license holders. To receive credit for the course, you must be present at all required sessions.

Course Fees. The fee for the 80-hour Category E Management Course is $750, or $820 if you elect to take the Category E examination. Please make checks or money orders payable to the Railroad Commission and mail to:

Category E Management Examination. The Railroad Commission's Category E management examination will be offered during the course for those that need to take it. The exam is required in order to obtain certification. The cost is an additional $70.

Course Cancellation. A minimum number of participants is required to hold the course. If this minimum number is not reached, the course may be rescheduled at a later date, and people who have already registered will be notified by phone. Please include a contact telephone number or e-mail address where we can reach you if the schedule changes. The course fee will be held until the course is conducted.

Location and Time. The course will be held in Austin, Texas, at the Railroad Commission's Alternative Fuels Training Center, 6505 Bolm Road. Class begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. each day.
