What We Do

Office of Public Engagement Mission

Serves as a liaison to the citizens of Texas in addressing their questions and concerns and ensures excellent customer responses.
Educates the public on the jurisdictional authority of the Railroad Commission of Texas and the impact of the Texas energy industry to the state, U.S. and global economies, and overall benefits to everyday lives.
Performs outreach to the public and internal and external stakeholders on state laws, Railroad Commission of Texas rules, and the agency’s procedures and processes
