Government Relations
Government Relations serves as the Railroad Commission of Texas’ (RRC) liaison with state leadership and members of the Texas Legislature on matters of policy affecting the agency and constituent affairs. During legislative sessions, government relations identifies and monitors important issues and legislation that could affect the RRC and industries that fall under the jurisdiction of the agency. The division also works closely with partner state agencies on issues of mutual interest or jurisdiction, when necessary.
